With a cramped layout, old appliances and worn out cabinets the kitchen felt crowded. Removing the wall between the two rooms opened up the space and modernized this home. The new beam installed was stained to match the kitchen island and panel over the stove. The floor tiles were installed in a herringbone pattern adding another design element to the kitchen.
